About Casey

A Beautiful Life Well Lived. 

Casey Canevari was an adventurer. A traveler, a thrill-seeker, a friend, a father, a son, a husband.

A lover of life. An incredible human. 

His life was cut far too short at 43 years old in May of 2025 after experiencing a medical emergency, due to complications from epilepsy. We gather in his memory, not just because of who he was to all that knew him, but to honor the fun-loving spirit that he has left behind. 

Casey was a father to three amazing young men - Parker (17), Connor (15), and Riley (10). They are his legacy and his life spirit emanates from them.

During the first three years (through 2027) of the Canevari Memorial Fund 's operations, fundraising efforts will focus on his three children and supporting their college savings funds. 

Casey lived and breathed the travel industry, graduating with a bachelor of science degree in travel & tourism management from Johnson & Wales University in 2004, and a master in tourism administration degree from George Washington University in 2022. He was passionate about travel and dedicated his career to it. He traveled to more than 30 countries and hiked all over the globe. He was an active member of the Wilmington Hiking Club (527), and was working on completing the NH 4,000 footers. 

In 2028 the Canevari Memorial Fund looks forward to announcing a scholarship program for high school seniors that are interested in pursuing a career in the travel & tourism and/or hospitality field.
